David Clarke is the director and founder of DBS.
David graduated from the University of Reading but spent the first four years of his career as 'Football in the Community Officer' at Reading FC and later Lincoln City FC before moving to the USA to put on Soccer Coaching Courses with sportswear manufacturer Umbro.
David founded DBS in California in 1986.
David returned to the UK in 1994 and worked for Yellow Pages. Targets and pressure selling didn't appeal to him so it wasn't too long before he reformed DBS in the UK.
Outside of work David is a fan of football and holds a season ticket at Manchester United.
David’s two claims to fame are that he was elbowed into the back of the net by John Fashanu while playing against a Lincoln City XI and that he also played alongside the ex Liverpool great Steve Heighway in the USA.
David prefers activity holidays such as touring on his motorbike, scuba diving and trekking - he took part in a trek to Everest Base Camp in 2016.
